**The truck has been sold**

I have owned this truck for a while and put a lot of time and money into making a nice truck nicer. I just finished up new head gaskets because of a broken alternator bolt along with a few other minor things while I was in there. But, everything is back together and running great. We are currently buying a piece of property and I have other places I could use the cash at the moment. But, I am not desperate to sell.

In a previous life, this truck was used to haul a camper and still has all the camper tie downs. I have used it to haul hay and a 300 gallon water tank for my horses.

Engine: 6.2L diesel that runs great
Transmission: SM465 4 speed manual
Transfer Case: NP205 HD gear drive
Axles: Dana 60 front/Dana 70 rear
Body: Straight, NO dents, and NO rust. Even the interior of the bed does not have any dents.
Paint: 8/10 due to hood and cab roof having the typical paint issues from the 80's.
Chrome: 9/10
Dual fuel tanks
High top canopy
Recent maintenance: hydroboost, wiper motor, belts, fuel filters, tires, XJ steering shaft (replaces worn out rag joint for better steering), repack front wheel bearings, and checked brakes.

The bad: AC does not work due to missing compressor and there no stereo installed currently (I have most of the parts to install).

We are about to close on 9 acres of land and I will need to build a barn and shop space. However, I don't have to sell the truck and I have priced it accordingly. If I don't get any interest at this price it won't hurt my feelings and I will keep it.

If this was SRW and on this side of the country, I would be knocking on your door! This is (other than the DRW) exactly what I want!!!! :doah:

Heck, if it were on this side of the country, I could even overlook the DRW, and just plan on swapping hubs, and doing some body work! (since the bedsides under dually flares are usually pretty hacked from the factory) But, getting it all the way here (even from Minnesota) would be killer on fuel expense!!!! :frown1:

One ton, regular cab, diesel, 4 speed, NP205, super clean, and no nasty CARC paint to deal with!!! (not a CUCV, the most common 1 ton regular cab diesels around here, usually the have NP208s though ALWAYS coupled with th400s) what a dream truck!!! :waytogo:

Anyways, good luck with sale, looks like a beautiful truck!!! :pimp:

I went with the dually because I could run H1 beadlocks down the road without modifying the wheels. It was just too nice to butcher off the bat. This is the truck I spent 20 years searching for though so I will probably be pulling down the ads after I get moved and start saving money on the mortgage...

I bet it did take you a long time to find it! It is the only one I've ever seen! Great find!!! My advice (even though I want it): KEEP IT!!! Definitely not gonna be able to easily find a replacement!!!

I thought about H1 beadlocks when I first saw it (there's a place near me that has probably hundreds of the 24 bolts with Baja TAs in stock) BUT, I have a set of brand new 37x12.50R17 MTR Kevlars sitting in my garage so, I am kinda partial to 17" wheels right now, LOL!

really nice k30

Yes, it is. After looking around this week to help another member looking for a C10 diesel I am noticing it is the cheapest rust free/straight K30 regular cab dually advertised within 500 miles of me too. I thought I was pricing it on the high side :doah::haha:

seems like a fair price to me.. truck looks great. getting hard to find these

And driving across the country at 60 mph isn't very appealing these days.

I beg to differ. I would throw a mattress in the back of that truck and go anywhere. I have been secretly hoping this doesn't sell until I have a better job and a house and a big garage. This is a great looking truck :thumb:

Fully how we all dream about what we would do if we could buy something.

This truck would be pulling an inclosed work trailer and hauling tile in the back if it were mine. These old rigs can still get work done. And for a lot less then what they want for new stuff these days

And I am still buying parts for future projects on this truck and driving it every week to haul something.

That's a beautiful truck. Wish I had the extra cash.:waytogo:
