SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD

Located in Muskegon, MI
$4950 OBO or trade for 2000 or newer Tahoe / Yukon

For sale 1989 full size Blazer, it is from the south west so it is very clean. It was owned by the US Forest Service, so it is bare bones, but well maintained. I replaced the vinyl seats with very comfortable fabric high back seats.
-350 tbi motor w/700r4 & 241
-runs and drives great, around town or on the highway 70 + mph all day
-The 4x4 works great.

New parts within last 500 miles or 2 years (same thing)
-Warn lock-outs
-PSC heavy duty steering gearbox with frame brace (factory?) and the pump is new too
-The ignition module is new
-The heater core is new also, but the A/C is missing a few parts so it doesn't work.
-BF Goodrich All Terrain, 33 inch

It has very minor rust, one small hole in the rear fender, but the rest is clean. The underside is very, very clean and you can still see the paint marks on the frame, the springs look new, it is just that clean and sits nice.
The rear tailgate is not original and the inside needs painted.

I was going to put in a new LS engine and lift it and all that, but I just don't have time. I use it mostly to pick stuff up at Home Depot and don't drive it when the roads are salty and I have no desire to be the guy that makes this thing rust, so that will be your job.

The pictures of the inside may look like rust, but it is not, the floor you can see the insulation through the cracked vinyl floor mat.
The paint is ok, the US government painted it white every couple years, so it's not perfect and the stickers were removed badly, so it is scraped up a bit. There are a couple small dents, but it has NO bondo its all original!

The 4.8 truck engine (with down pipes & O2 sensor), 4l60e transmission, computer with base tune and conversion parts will be sold separately.

Feel free to ask questions.
Thanks, Jeff
The ONLY trades will be a 2000 or newer Tahoe or Yukon

Price???????

How did I miss that?? I updated the listing, thanks Swettyblazer!

Thanks Shady, but it spent most of it's life in the south west and I don't drive it in the winter. Which is why I am selling it. I'd rather have a "normal" vehicle, that I can drive all the time... sad I know.

Here are a couple tire pics and one of it trying to hide in the snow. I also have a video of it starting and running, that I can email.

Oh come on Jeff! Can't sell that sweet k5!

I gotta let my dad know about this one. You have a craigslist ad?

You know how it goes, stuff, then other stuff and things... :-) I didn't even get to the dunes this year. My wife has never even ridden in it, she's not a huge fan. Though my 3 year old daughter says it is hers. I'm looking for a mall-mobile (Tahoe), then lift it. That way I get creature comforts and a bit of a toy... we'll see.
Yes, you can see it on Craigslist, right here.

By the way, how's it going? Still working at Lasko's?

Actually I got a job about a year and a half ago at structural concepts in Norton shores in the drafting dept.

Good luck with the sale Jeff.

Nice! What CAD software are you using? How do you like it there? I worked with them in the past on a small job, but I can't remember what it was now...

Thanks. I need to put it up for sale out on M-120 by Meijers, so all the high school kids see it!

Solid works, yah I like it. Busy.
I'll sendy dad your craigslist link.

Thanks Jekquistk5! Hey I wasn't too far from you last week, I was in Chelsea visiting family. Love the Chelsea Alehouse, mm mm good.

Dueling, tell everyone!!! hahaha

I have my eye on a Tahoe, but I can't buy that until I sell this, and that guy can't buy his next vehicle until I buy his, so let's get this ball rolling!!!!!

Yah about 10 miles:) love the Alehouse. I am friends with the assistant brew master. ;)

Ok, so I have noticed one thing, ok, a couple, 1) everyone loves the Blazer, but everyone has to sell something first... the other thing, 2) when young guys come to look at the Blazer, they never come alone, they usually bring ALL their friends, older guys, go it alone. Last night I had 1 guy and 4 of his friends looking it over, asking this and that, some good questions, some make you thing they are the pity friend (the silly guy in sweat pants). Now all I need is one of these guys or their friends to have money!

Same thing happened with me as well. I ended blowing off a bunch of people cuz it wasn't worth my time. Finally a dude was persistent and kept calling saying he had cash in hand. Might be worth it to wait for one of those scenarios.
