I am selling my 1995 Chevy S10 2wd regular cab shortbed. I have done the popular V8 swap and the truck is an absolute blast to drive. A lot of time and effort has gone into this swap to ensure it wasn't hacked together or incomplete like so many that you see. It has a GM Goodwrench 350 crate engine and a T5 5speed manual from a V8 Camaro with Hurst short throw shifter. The engine has an Edelbrock intake and a Holley carb. It has shortie headers, 2.5" Y-pipe, to a 3" exhaust and a Flow Master 40series all done by Lou's Custom Exhaust. For cooling it has an all aluminum race radiator and has a set dual electric fans that come on and off automatically. It has no cooling problems including mid-summer heat in traffic.
I built this truck to be a sleeper. There is nothing besides the wheels and the exhaust that tips you off that its not factory. I used to daily drive this truck until I bought a new vehicle and I wouldn't hesitate to continue driving it. This truck is 100% street legal, passes inspection with flying colors, and has a current sticker and registration. I have all reciepts of everything from the swap, upgrades, and repairs.
The body is in great shape with no rust or rot at all, however it does have a few scratches and minor dents typical of the age of the truck. The frame is straight but has some surface rust. The interior is in great shape and has a new carpet, stereo, speakers, sub, and is set up for Sirius/XM.
The truck has a hard tonnoe cover and bedliner. It also comes with the factory wheels/tires. I also have a set of Caltracs traction control bars new in the box that comes with.
Some recent new parts include:
- Posi for the rear end
- All new hoses
- Belts
- Upper Ball Joints
- Shocks
- Carpet
- Tires
- Zoom Clutch
- U-Joints
- Rotors/Brake pads
- Wheel bearings
- H4 bulb style headlights (brighter and cleaner than factory sealed beams)
- Exhaust
- Alternator
- Starter
The price is $3500obo and its located in Massachusetts (a town over from Plymouth)
