I'm selling because I have a set of 1-ton axles I'm going to be installing this winter.

Those are awfully cheap prices considering what you put into them. Somebody will be getting one heck of a deal. :eek1:

how does that aussie locker in the front work? Is it a full posi or limited slip? You have exactly what I need for my blazer. I am thinking about it. Thanks

i have the same locker and love it the steering is a little wider when hubs are locked but no biggie

It's an automatic locker that functions just like a lock-rite or Detroit. It's fully locked, but will disengage when you take a turn.

what size tires do you have on your truck with these gears? I have 35's right now with 3.73's. I know i need to change out the gears for 4.10's or 4.56's. What is your rpm driving on the highway? i have a brand new engine so the 3.73's aren't too bad but i want pull some snowmobiles up in the mountains, and not wear out the engine. thanks

I'm running 37s. With the TH400 auto I run about 2300RPM doing 65mph. If you've got overdrive, then you won't have any issue with 4.56 and 35s. B_to_C ran that setup for years. Even without OD, I wouldn't hesitate to run the gears with 35s. Especially towing things, but then I don't like running over 60-65mph anyways.

This last trip to Holy Cross was the first time I'd had it over Eisenhower tunnel since the gear change. I went from 3.73 to 4.56 with the 37s. It was a huge improvement. I was able to run both sides without downshifting. I was really happy when I could even increase my speed at will coming up the west side of the tunnel going eastbound.

Plus 4.56s are great on the trail. That's my biggest regret about going to the 1-ton axles because they only have 4.10 gears.

Wow, best of luck. Those are some smokin prices. I just sold my 12blt/D44 combo for 1,000 bucks for both, mine did have superior chomos and ctm's with hysteer arms but same gearing and same lockers. Good deal, feel really good about my deal. Best of luck. I think it is worth it.

Well, I found someone that agreed because they are SOLD!

Thanks for the props guys!
