Sold my 5.7 and having a bear getting it out!

Should I pull the torque converter with the engine?

Will trans fluid pour out? Should I drain trans before hand?

If you pull the converter with the engine you will likely run into issues-like the front pump seal being ruined and possibly the bushing the converter rides on (had a few come out stuck to the converter snout)--and there is a possibility you wont have enough room to pull the engine forward enough to get it out with the converter still attached..

I'd remove all the torque converter bolts, and put a piece of flat steel on one bell housing bolt after the trans is pulled away from the engine a bit,to keep the converter from wanting to come out with the engine,or fall out once the engine is removed..sometimes the converter gets stuck in the pilot in the crankshaft and will have to be coaxed out by gently prying..

I would have left it in the trans, they are the pits to reinstall in the vehicle. two or three levels to get it seated. If not properly seated in trans, good bye front pump.
