Parting out my 1985 1-ton project. This is the round bolt pattern unit with the 32 spline long input shaft and the slip-yoke output. It was originally bolted to a TH400. I had it rebuilt by 4Xheaven in Gloversville NY (see their ad in Petersons 4wheel & offroad). I spent $750 on the rebuild & I'd like to get that much back out of it. Let me know if you're interested, Thanks.

I also have 4 new procomp shocks, and a full set of fuel/brake lines for a 1-ton carb truck, many big block specific parts, driveshafts.... let me know what you're looking for.

Price drop to $700. I'll throw in a driveshaft with it too. (longbed 1-ton shaft)

no offers? I thought you guys were into the 1-ton stuff. Is my T-case not worth that much? All I know is at $700 I'm already losing $50 on the rebuild cost and $200 on the core charge. Feel free to make me an offer guys.

Most guys can get one rebuilt locally for about the same or less $$ wise and have a warranty in their name... and your tcase is a slip yoke so that doesn't help either. Unfortunately your not going to get much more than 50% of your money back out of it if your lucky. Those things are so simple that $125 rebuild kit and 4 hours of time anyone can do rebuild one with basic mechanical ability.

Thanks for the info. New price is $500 and you get a driveshaft (I have fixed-yoke style and slip-yoke style). I also have the bolt-on brace that goes between the T-case and the engine on a Big Block. Thanks,
~Brett

I feel your pain, I have $1400 into my 205 that I'll never recoup. My solution is to keep using it...

Good luck with the sale.
