84 3/4 diesel sub, banks kit, gm goodwrench 6.5 replacement block(unshure of miles on motor was told within a few years of when I bought it). I don't have miles handy(Died in work parking lot).
Black top and bottom silver stripe down the middle and red pinstripe. Grey interior with wear and tear nothing really bad. 3 benches.
It is a 20 footer looks good from a little bit away. It has rust in the usual spots, under door handles, some trim, under front lip of hood from bug guard install, bottoms of doors.
I bought this sub 2 yrs ago with the ambition to partially restore it.
In the first week I owned it I put 2 new batteries(gell filled from autozone), a new alternator(standard 75 amp replacement), new tires from BigO, and new front brakelines(good thing it blew while sitting in my driveway).
A few months ago I did a front wheel baring, motor mounts, and the fuel pump.
When it's warm it starts great and runs great. Hard to start in the cold but runs great after it gets warm.
A few weeks ago the starter started to grind and it blew a fuse. I coulden't get it to start then the batteries went dead. We have had a series of bad storms and its been really cold so I haven't bothered to try to get it started again.
There is 64000 on the truck, not sure how many times it has rolled over and don't know how long the motor has been in it for sure. From what I was told it is the GM Good Wrench replacement motor from chevy. I thought they only had the 6.5 option avail and retired the 6.2 when you needed a replacement.
If you know what your doing I don't think it would be a hard fix and a good driver. Or parts if your into that.
I dont have time or patience for it anymore so I just want it gone.
It Hurts to ask this little since I paid 3500 for it 2 years ago and put close to 1500 more in the first week alone. I've heard the Banks kit alone is going for 700 or so used so lets start at 1,500 OBO and see if anyone is interested. Open to offers.
