These are from a Black Diamond kit I purchased. They are 12" travel shocks and measure about 31.5" fully extended as shown in the picture.

$600 + shipping for the 4 New shocks and springs. Poly bushings and the steel inserts are also included.

These weigh about 40 lbs each...

Please educate me(and everyone else) on what these would be good for?

A low to mild lifted truck with 35's? Or are they for a wild big lift/big tires type truck? They are coilover so 3-4 link set-up.

For some dumb reason I'm trying to think at 7:30am...

Thanks,

Chris

Gaffed- they would probably be suited for a light vehicle as black diamond kits are generaly jeep stuff.

DPI- are you converting a yj or cj? did you go with another brand of coilover? sorry for the hijack

damn wish these had been for sale when i was collecting parts for my 4link on my k30. but now i have no money haha

I purchased these to build the '89K5 I had. I was going to use them with the Rockwell axles I had at the time.

The spring rate is for a heavier vehicle of 6K per the part number of the springs used. The Black Diamond coilovers had 4 spring rates available and these are the heaviest rated available.

I was going to run with 46" Michelins...

The entire project got scrapped. That is why I am selling them.

Sounds like they are not realistic for me running only 35's.

I am not sure what part is not realistic. These are the same used on the CJ XCL kit (with lighter spring rates) to fit 35-37" tires.

The 3" diameter springs are actually better suited for the heavier vehicles. The lighter coilovers use 2.0" or 2.5" springs.

It's all about design.

or mine with 42s :) too bad i dont have the money. sweet deal tho. free bump

id love to have them, i just cant afford it now :(

curious tho, would you split them up? like 2 and 2 or you just wana sell them all together?

do you know the ride height dimension? (how long they are suposed to be at ride height)

Yes, I will split them. I have someone interested in two, but he has not committed yet.

I would start out by splitting the 12" for the ride height. So about 25.75" at ride height. That will give you equal droop and stuff.
