well looks like i have no one interested in this, save it from local idiots, save the k5! Im looking at a truck sunday, if i dont get one soon i may just pay someone to fix it
 
i know we have been talking for awhile about it but the main reason i held off is the broken mounts. not so sure i want to take that on right now....

does the motor smoke at all? ok, im off saturday and sunday this weekend...let me know if you are avail so i can come out and take a look/drive....ok?
 
the mounts arnt broken, the passenger side mounts are rotted, like the rubber bushings. Get new bushings and you should be okay, i was going to do that but i figure may as well do em all. motor dosnt smoke, tranny shifts smooth, 96k original miles but i dont know how accurate that is, i dunno if the engine or trannny were replaced or rebult. Im off today (saturday) and i work sunday, be home be 33-4ish, let me know.
 
damn dude, been on the road all day. what time do you get out of work sunday?

FWIW, body mounts are a piece of cake, especially in a k5. a floor jack and a 6x6, do one at a time, the whole thing should take less than two hours with an impact.
 
bump, ill have this for a little longer due to issues with the title with the new truck, so, bump. dont wanna junk it when the new one comes
