I knew the east coast guys would hit this up. I really do feel for you guys. I would be just as mad or more like disapointed really. I Would be willing to help anyone get it.
Then deliver it to me and tack on another $400.

I talked to him and it seems there is a little back fee on it.
We'll see if we can work out a deal on it, or I pass.
Out of state buyers don't have to worry about the back fees at least...
Well I heard that CA doesn't let go.
I would like to know because I have bought a crew cab that has a few grand in back fees and I am just sitting on it.
I have sold all the parts I could sell but still have the tub and frame, really clean too.
CA can't do anything once an out of state buyer tranfers the title. They may try to ding someone who re-imports it into CA though.
I picked up an old truck in CA a few years ago for very cheap because of the back fees... but didn't have to pay any of it to transfer the title to OR.
