This is complete in a running 83 1 ton diesel truck. Comes with adapter and the t-case brace. This is the slip yoke figure 8 np205 that works good along with the th400 that also works good.
350.00 plus shipping.

This 400 is the HD version with the bolt on cast torque converter cover that has 6 bolts.

It's wierd no one is jumping on this.
Maybe I buy it from you?:eek1:

Yeah I'm suspecting shipping kills the deal for most people. Let me know and maybe we'll just leave the whole drive train in tact if your buddy wants the 6.2 also.

I was thinking maybe we can work out a deal on all the stuff we talked about reducing the total and I help you pull them or do all the work myself.
I need to figure out my $$ available first and then I will hit you with a suggestion. :waytogo:

Sounds, good.

What is the total length of the setup from bell to slip yoke output? I'm wondering if it would directly replace a th400/208 setup without driveline mods. Thanks,

jason

Item is sold.

I will get a measurement for you though for reference. I have no idea if it's the same as a 400/208.

i had a 400/203 and once i went smc465/205.. i cant look back.. good price though... glad you got it sold :waytogo:

any work done to that 400?
we put a b&m stage II shiftkit in mine when i had it.. it was just a flat piece of metal with holes.. and you drill out certain holes bigger for harder shifts.. we drilled them all to 1 step from max..and man did it shift hard!!!!

I doubt it.
The one I'm building for the buggy will get a trans go kit, probably stage 2 and were starting with a th475:woot:

As far as I know the earlier before 85didn't have same length. The 86 and up supposedly they made them equal length to be interchangeable.
That is why the 32 spline 465 has such a long output shaft.
