LOL!, yes. basic no frills cd player, but it works. two little 3 way box speakers behind the seat. drowns out the tires and squeaks...

Anything that you would trade for?
I am guessing you want better gas mileage right?
And still be able to have your tools with you?

At this point I need something that exactly replaces what this truck does. I got the misses a commuter car last week, so that takes a little of the money/ gas stress out for us

Idealy- full size van or tbi/overdrive long bed with canopy, or diesel version of same rig... then the canopy could just transfer over to the next rig. tall order tho, i realize. which is why i'm still rollin the 82 to work every day :D

well what I have for trade is the 97 fullsize van with vortec 5.7
I got an average of 20-21mpg in the one year I drove it.
I will need some cash plus the truck though, not a straight trade.
I could keep the seats and make it less cash too.

Got any pics? Is it a cargo express or passenger van? How many miles on it?

Dude keep the truck and swap on a SMI or JET quadrajet and your MPH will go up 1-3MPG easily. I had the same set up on my rig when i first got it and the edelbrock was a GAS GUZZLER. imiceman44 is a good guy though so he won't do you wrong and i'm sure the van is well taken care of.

I have a q jet for it, just haven't gotten around to it.

So today, my boss gave me his bed slide. Its one of those deals that you bolt to your bed and slides in and out so you can pull it out, put all your tools on it, and slide it in. Basically saves you from crawling in and out of the bed to fish stuff out...

My boss is also paying for more of my mileage now...

Nice. My buddy has one in his f150. They are real handy and heavy duty. You gotta get that quadrajet on there. It will make a HUGE difference.

Nice clean van :thumb: I can't really afford to upgrade/uptrade tho. Thats the main delema to all this, I can't replace what have for what I could sell it for. Dry, lockable storage and a rack on top. I use/need both daily.

Guess I keep rollin my lifted hog through the streets of portland. LOL!

Iceman, thank you for your time

those bed slides kick a$$. im making one for my k5 right now. thats a good score as those are not freekin cheap.

why are all the good deals so far away from me! this is what I need, I cant stand not owning a chevy 4x4!
