Can you post of a pic of the CDR valves that you have? I'm interested but need to figure out if I could make it work (I have a '90 civvy K5).

Is the starter a gear reduction version?

Standard 6.2L GM OEM starter.

Does your '89 have a bracket that the things bolts to (based on the tabs on that CDR)? I took mine off years ago and can't find it, and don't remember if there was a bracket, or it just pushed into the valve cover.

Just pushes into the cover. I just dropped mine in with the bottom tube and then cut the hose about half an inch so it was the right length to mate up with the bent side tube on the CDR. Works great so far two plus years later.
