Thanks, If im not mistaken this should have the standalone controller for the 4l80E. Although i'd hate to see it tore up being as clean as it is.
It should have a ECM that controls both the 454 and the 4l80e, so no.

I read that 91 had the standalone controller because it was the first year of the 4l80E and the only year it was put in that body style of suburbans. I could be wrong though i dont remember where i read it anymore
