There are quite a few small things that aren't perfect on this truck:

Paint is not great. It was originally light green and the white paint was definitely not professional, but also wasn't rattle canned.

The passenger front seat folds forward and won't lock back.

There is a crack under the driver seat mount.

Fenders are cleared for the 37's but need more clearance for full travel (barely hits when bottomed out).

I don't think the ECU is setup for the manual tranny setup, which causes sporadic idle issues. Doesn't cut off, but the idle does drop down to 500 rpm, but it recovers.

Speedometer is not hooked up.

I will take a bunch of pics this weekend, but if anyone is interested, you can give me a call to talk about the truck. Send me a PM and I will send you my number.

You know an '88 350 is externally balanced, right? What does the balancer look like?

I did not know that 88's were externally balanced. I was basing the 400 SBC off of what the machine shop told me. The flywheel has a balance weight on the backside. Is there another way to tell?

The casting number. Also, if it was a 400, the harmonic balancer would have a notch out of it to balance the front of the crank. An externally balanced 350 does not have that notch, the balancer is smooth all the way around its circumference.
