The lock right is gone. Sold it today.

The rest of the 10 bolts are going to the scrap pile save for the Detroit and Chrome-alloy axles.

Would the detroit work in a front axle?

No sir. I had brand new Warn hubs but I transferred them to my Dana 44. One of the old 44 hubs were broken, I threw them out.

I don't know for sure if the Detroit would fit in the front carrier.

It's pretty close to going to the scrapyard if you want it.

Here is a side by side of the front and rear carriers.

The both measure about 7.62" tall and the tips of the ring gear are in line too.

I can drop the locker in the front carrier and see if it fits.

When I tried to drop the Detroit in the front carrier it has to go all the way to the passenger side in order for the ring gear to drop down in the pinion.

The spacers and shims would have to be stacked on the driver side.
I think it would be difficult to set the gears properly.

I wouldn't recommend installing this in the front.

Also what about the ring and pinions? did they get trashed or sold?

The Detroit and axle shafts are sold.

I threw away the housings, rings, pinions, gov lock, and every other piece of steel laying around except the black steel rims.

1700 lbs of steel gone.

I don't know how much shipping is I live in 92117.
