I need a new solder station for work and my rc car stuff.

I'd like it to have a built in base with a sport for a sponge pad.

40 watt minimum preferred

Nice variety of tips available

under 100 bucks if possible.

Bought my last at radio shack. They're going out of bussiness I hear, maybe find a good deal there.

x2 on the Hakko. I got the FX 888. It's temperature controlled and they have a bazillion tips. I've done a ton of circuit board work with it but it'll also do big wires, just gotta crank up the heat.
