Theres a guy in Santee cali that make some. His business is called Autofab. Look it up on yahoo. I dont know the url but its probably www.autofab.com Hes a good guy and he makes good stuff.

Are you worried about the stiffness rate in conjuntion with the tranny?

weight a sec, this means no motor movement /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif

what about frame flex, could it eventually cause you to break a bellhousing /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif /forums/images/graemlins/ears.gif

solid motor mounts rate solid tranny and t-case mounts as well. yes, less frame flex as well. but more stressed areas in my eyes.

i dunno if id want to run them, theres a guy in our club with a 4x4 G20 on 38" swampers, hes running solid mounts and when i rode in that thing last week that thing rattled like hell, that would drive me nuts after a while!!

I agree it really causes a lot of vibration. Kinda gives your ride a Harley feel. Especially annoying on a daily driver.

You could get the semi-solid mounts from ORD. I have them and love them. Very solid, with just enough give so your teeth don't rattle.

MY buddy has them on his pro street 68' nova with a bottle fed 406 but it vibrates a lot. Pretty cool when he stabs the throttle and the whole car kicks to one side though.

I wouldn't want them on a 4x4 though because there is too much frame flex.

didn't think about the frame flex issue, looks like the ORD mounts are the way to go for the best of both worlds. Thanks for all the advice.
