I just did a D60 swap a couple months ago on my 74 k20. Everything went well with the exception of the brake lines. The original D44 calipers have a larger bolt then the D60. I originally just used the the brake hose for the D44, and it worked for a couple of trips. Now it's leaking. I know it was a "quick" fix and just ran it because it never ran on the road.

I would get new brake lines, but I dropped 100 bucks just before the swap :doah:. My question is could I use a D44 caliper on a D60? or is there another solution w/out getting new brake lines.

I know the best solution is to just get new lines, but seeing if there is another option?

You need new lines for a 10 bolt, they use a 10mm banjo bolt rather than the 7/16" that a D44 uses. Depending on the brand of lines you bought some of them have a removeable end at the caliper and in that case you just need to buy the correct and and swap them over.
