I had one of those in an 86 1/2 ton 4x4, 4 speed, I had when I was 18. It blew up one night after I dumped in Slick 50 after an oil change. It would've been cheaper to throw in a 350 and call it good, but I stupidly went with another 4.3L. I got rid of the truck after I got passed by birds going up Donner Pass one day.


Good job on the carnage, I hate those engines.

This was in a S10 with a 5 speed. My back field is muddy from raining the oyher night. So i jumped in his truckand was havin some fun.had it in 4 low in second and pedal to the metal. it took a few hours after it started knockin to finally let go. We finally just had to hold it to the floor for like 3 mins.
