I ran across a clean 94 wrangler hard top with a blown 4 cylinder 1500 bucks . I for some reason thought I could buy a reman some where around 750ish buy a couple 30 packs invite a couple buddies over one weekend and zoom zoom. Crap them 4 bangers ain't that cheap! 1300-2100 for reman long block with a core charge? my core has a window in it where a rod went AWOL 
Now I'm looking at buying a 100k junkyard motor for a 800 or go knee deep in some kind of conversion
I have a hard time dropping that much coin for weak azz 4 cylinder even though I want ever really be driving it. I remember why I quit messing with jeeps a few years ago
