Some General Questions

I recently got a 80 k5 blazer it has a 350 np203. How can i identify what kind of tranny it has, also how can i tell what kind of axles and gears it has. Sorry if these are stupid questions just trying to learn and this site seems to be the place to do that, thanks.

Unless its been swapped, i can tell you you have 10 bolt front and rear axles with 3.08 gears. This was what it came with from the factory.

Tranny, again, unless changed, should be a th350. Others should be able to give a description.

You will have a np203 or np205 tcase. 1980 was a year np205's were used in all vehicles...
