some help on this front axel?

picked up these axles over the weekend took a chance on the ford front.

how can I tell what it is, I know its a high pinion 60, the id tag was taken off the cover, its say 268 on top corner of the pumkin and 620093r.

ive tried imputing the bom into the dana 60 site with no luck, and cant seem to find any numbers on the tube.

If original, the date stamp on the ring gear will give you an approx year. You can also measure the spring perch width to identify if its per '80 or post '85.

My guess based on the steering arm is its an early model.

that's good news, thanks for your help guys. I will start a build thread soon, im just collecting parts right now for my build.

I really like how kay86k5 set his blazer up that's kind of what im going for. I love the amount of articulation the truck has any info or build threads you think I should read up on let me know please.

I paid 1200 for both, they have 4.56 gears, locker rear open front. good price?

I'd say yes, that's a pretty darn good price. Those axles look like they are in nice condition too.
