couple items here for your engine needs

First up is a Seal kit meant for sealing engines for long term storage. Bags are fine for short term but will never hold up for very long. Everything in the kit is 10ga. steel except for the lift plate which is 1/4". Not pictured is a plastic plug for the distributor hole.

SBC, Exhaust port seals, water pump and water neck seal, fuel pump block off and lift plate. Fuel pump block off is heavy enough to use as a permanent block off when switching to an electric fuel pump.

Kit cost as pictured (unpainted) with the plastic dist. plug is $25.00 plus shipping.

Kits for other engines will be developed.

Second item is a Engine balance plate. You'll need one of these if your building a 383 or 406 externally balance but using the small 350 flexplate.

I'm not an engine builder but Coonie's Racing engines that moved into the shop this past fall has been working with me to get these out so here they are. Made of 13ga. Cold rolled steel.

$9.00 plus shipping.

You really make some cool stuff.

Thanks! I really like the outcome of the Engine seal kit. There are other kits out there but none (that I know of) that are quite this thorough. I've been stock piling some small blocks for future use and if your like me, moving the lift plate from engine to engine and then putting plastic over the engine or shoving something down the intake seems kinda ridiculous. Hopefully we've priced this low enough that the engine lift plate can just be left on there.

I would say yes... only problem is it wont work with my cummins or 6.2L's :doah:

cool stuff. I might have to see what Coonies can do for me when I need an engine later in life. I think if I am gonna try TTC-style comps at some point, I'm gonna need an FI'd 454...

Cool item, do you have plans for a BBC seal kit?

Yep, BBC is one of the highest on the demand list.

I'm sure he can hook you up! He'll be doing both my Caddies.

will an option of having one side rubber lined be an option? seems like metal to metal won't seal perfectly and being rubberlined on one side would allow ease of install over and over. Just an Idea:D

Meant to be used with a smear of silicone.

You could also go to the hardware store and get a sheet of rubber from the plumbing section. Then use Kert's pieces for templates and cut your own gaskets...

I may be getting a engine to build here shortly and when I do I'll pick up a set, I spoke to one of my vendors that rubberize for me and they said the charge should be minimal:D
