The front D44 is practically worthless, I had to try for 6 months to get $40 for my disc braked D44. It may be, just barely, worth your time to scrap it.
And $275 for used, carbon fiber valve covers? On a SBC? Seriously?

would the gears and axles out of that d44 fit a newwer model d44 for spares if they are anygood,(of course they're external hubs, tho) b4 you scrapped it? crossover bar looks straight if some1 needs 1 that is close...what can i say...i'm a packrat!
