some scary steering

My dad and I saw this truck in Omaha a few months ago and he just now sent me the pictures. I had to invert the colors so you could actually see what they did to correct the steering angle. The whole lift was a total fiasco. The front and rear leaf springs were just stacked together and not in any particular order. They had a short one then a long one, etc. all the way up. Anyways, the pics of the leaf springs didn't come out very well, but here's pic's of the steering. :D yes that is a piece of square tubing between the dragling and pitman arm. It was welded to the pitman arm and has a second plate between the draglink and tube.

Those are triple rate, dual progressive, interupted rate springs. Very high tech!:haha:
