So Cal.
I worked Saturday and all we did was baby sit electrical testing. So I played in the machine shop and made time and a half and machined these shifter knobs for a tripple stick setup. As you can see there not done yet. I still need to drill & tap for a stainless steel Keensert. I'm going to have them hard anodized and then cnc engraved by a friend of mine with the correct shifter pattern. I grooved them for grip using a threading insert then lightly fine filed the groove edges so they were not totally sharp. I was just going to buy a set, but I got to thinking about it and since we were not actually working on Saturday why not just make them, so I did. looking forward to getting them finished up.

Exactly how big are those? They don't look small like the ones WFO makes.

They are 2" stock turned down to 1.960 so they would have a machined finish. Their 3.500 long. They fit in the hand nicely. When I drill them for the insert I'm going to drill them fairly deep to get some of the weight off them, not that their really heavy, but thats what I want to do anyways. I looked at the WFO, it loks like mine has a bigger corner radius, mine will feel smoother with the bigger radius for sure.

pic of a ord 3 stick. yours might be a bit big unless you correct the spacing in the bending of the levers.

Yeah, I figured I would have to do something like that. No biggie. Thanks for posting the pic. Do you know what thread is in those shift handle balls? dremu said 1/2-13. I have 1/2-20 ans 1/2-13 SS Keenserts ready to go in. I made a thread about thread size.

Oiy..........have an extra one? I'd take one for my freshly installed nv4500 in my dually. :wink1:

I had these in my old truck but sold them with the truck. and they were very heavy. steel. clearcoated. too heavy IMO.

Very nice looking!
I made a big one of those for my old ford years ago, it would get so hot in the summer you could hardly handle it. The heavy ones I think would be bad on the tranny, kinda like resting your hand on it all the time.

:waytogo::waytogo::waytogo::waytogo: want to make a extra set????? sm465/203/205 shift pattern???

Not to distract from the OP ... though I betcha rdn2blazer will tell you he does this for fun, not for profit, as we've been through this 'afore.

Anyway, Trevor @ WFO does have such things commercially...

I happen to know that he has 203/205 triple-stick kits (listed as "coming soon") 'cuz I have a set. They're styled a bit different than rdn2blazer's, but they do bring teh secksah.
