So CA fab shop that specializes in a different brand is doing this for a good customer or friend of the owners.
I don't know much more than what you can see in the pics other than I can tell you that the springs are customs from Deaver b/c this shop often works with Deaver on their more typical projects.
Lots of people talk about triangulation in building cages, but rarely do I see it executed so well in a sport vehicle (as opposed to a racer). The length of the triangle legs is also important and this fab shop has got that down.

Sorry about the large pic size but I figured anyone who wanted to look closely could use them big.

Any chance of getting more pics (maybe side shots)? that looks like some really nice work. :eek1:

Nice work, but I wonder about the dark color of the tube and the white serial numbers on it.

How so?
Most of the 4130 I've seen has that spiral look to it and the inked type, size, wall thkns, and lot info on it. I doubt Matt @ TC would use anything but stuff from a known supplier.

Also found this pic of a 2wd soon (?) to be pre-runner. If the owner is the rdc mod that I think he is, this truck is slated to get one of those hokey "Conversion glass" front clips that look like the mid 90's front clips.
