Here's some pics of me and people I work with getting ready to leave to Canadian river in Texas, just a few miles from Amarillo. We had with us a land cruiser, a 94 blazer, a 79 bronco and my 74 jimmy.

The bronco guy blew a tire on his trailer, so we had to wait for him to go get a new one in the closest town which gave me and my wife some time to hang out.

This was my very first obstacle ever and I almost had it but I wasn't tall enough, so I took the side way around it. I dinged up my bumper when I backed up off of it. and now my hood doesn't shut right. But I didn't feel bad, I big locked up jeep couldn't make it either.

That 94 Blazer looks like a typical mall crawler. Nice Escalade conversion. I think it looks cool, but it just doesn't look made for wheeling.

yeah, the guy he bought that truck from was a poser. that paint job alone is $9K. It glows in the dark. But my buddy don't care he just wanted a blazer. he's probably going to get rid of it because everything is welded and bondoed shut. because it was supposed to be a show truck.... until a redneck got ahold of it. It's got lockers and 4.56's though. now I guess I got to load the restof my pics into the gallery and link it.... give me a little while...

Some of these didn't turn out very good. But I got a pic of the bronco almost flipping, there were a couple jeep guys around that tried winching him up but they didn't weigh enough. So he hooked up to my truck and we pulled him up and over. But in all fairness my truck didn't even come close to making it over.

then we played in the mud. The land cruiser didn't do so hot. I tried pulling him out but I sank really quick and was stuck too, but as soon as I unhooked from him I got right out. None of us could pull him out without sinking. There was a layer of about 3 inches of sand and then a foot of water waiting underneath and then serious mud. as soon as you broke through the top layer, you were looking at a pretty good drop. lucky for us (and him) that this guy was there.

The guy in the land cruiser is an idiot. Why would he try to go through that, his tires look practically like street tires, not bite and no width. What was he thinking?
I hate it when people do that at Pismo. They go off in their 2wd soccer mom mini van and get stuck in the sand. People are retarted.

Actually on the way home he blew another one on the opposite side and had to borrow the land cruisers spare tire. I had a lot of fun and the wife did too once she realized I wasn't doing anything too serious. But for stock suspension and 33's I was pretty happy. There were only a few things that I couldn't do that the bronco and mall crawler could. The only really problem that I had was a little overheating. and some cargo storage issues my glove box came open and pens and papers went everywhere and we spent a few minutes finding them all. But at the end of the day we all ended up here.... just kidding, we ate at the McDonald's next door. No one really broke anything and everyone had fun. And now even my wife has the offroading bug and has now ok'ed and approved future improvements

Never really thought of it... I think one of these is good. I figured my truck wasn't big enough, but these are some of my favorites. Plus some of my buddies had cameras too, so I'm kind of excited to see what they got.

The calendar is intended to showcase ALL K-series rigs. Last year we featured at least one basically stock ride, if not two. Of course we also had a couple of highly-modified trucks in there, too. It's all about having a final product with a little of everything.
