some creative winching. The old bridge has been washed out for years and there was only an ATV trail around the gully. It was prob 500+ feet to bottom. We got front end around then winched back end of rig up the hill to get around then did some creative dirt work to keep the trail open. Also cleaning up some falled dead trees from the trail.

I don't have alot of rig specific pics. I'll take some next time I'm at his house. ITs a 82 1008 that he bored out the 6.2 into a 6.5 and added a banks turbo and exhaust kit. Behind that is a TH475 that I think is basically stock. Then an ORD doubled 203/205 triple sticked with a HAD rear output parking brake. 1350 u-jointed shafts all around to a dana 60 up front with 4.56s and a detroit electrax and a home-made tierod with replaceable ends at both sides and heavy DOM and crossover using draglink ends and a shakerbuilt (?) steering arm. He has the west texas hydro assist on it too. The rear is a 14FF with 4.56s and a detroit locker and disks. He went the extra mile to turn down the studs to get them to seat correctly in the rotors too. If you look most studs don't go all the way into the recessed holes in the rotors. He put a blazer tank in the rear and if you look closely a stock fuel door fabbed into the rear of the bed to fill it so it lloks clean and stock. The original fuel doors on each side now house air chucks to plug in his air hoses. He runs a york off the engine to a 2.5 gal and a 10 gal I believe air tanks. He built the front and rear bumpers out of sch 40 using a hand operated bender. Awesome job for that bender and those compound bends. The rock sliders bolt to the frame and follow the article on the sliders they built in petersons on that 1008 a year or 2 back. The interior still has AC and is all electric. F ancy seats and steering wheel. He has a line lock on the brakes too for a second parking brake setup. Also has a tranny cooler and PS cooler with elecric fans in the front behind the billit grill. I believe he took the ps cooler off though for more air flow since the thermal switch for it never turned it on so figured no need. There are so many finely built items on that rig I will just take a bunch of pics next time.

a few more from the build up. It was an 8 year build. VERY VERY nit pic on little detail so he took his time. He even cut the fneders then plated the lip back in. You wouldn't hardly ever know they were cut. He put that rubber fender stuff on there too help keep crud off too
