There were alot of Jeeps there and 1 K5 which was Jimmy88's. His K5 was also known as the Blue Bulldozer. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I was in this Jeep.

This may very well be the first modified Jeep Rubacon. Only 6 weeks old and already on 4" lift and 35's.

Great pictures. Looks like a fun time! I think that is exceptional when people with new trucks take them in the woods. Not sure I would do it, but for those who do, /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif. At least they aren't wussies!

So, where are all the Hardcore pics at? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif j/k.

Right now my truck is tore apart. I am hoping to have it back out by the next Carlisle truck show which is in June. Donna's is no where near ready for the trails we ran so it stayed home.

so what ya doin to it /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

What am I doing to it? Well here is a short list.
1. Fix rust. /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif
2. Rock sliders in place of rockers.
3. Tube bumpers.
4. Fix the trans or just do the doubler if money permits.
5. Cage.
6. Lots of hacking to fit 39.5's.
7. 57" rear springs.
8. Major diet. Planning to loose the top, gate, and doors.
9. New exhaust.

I also have to do Donna's. That will get 4" lift, 1 ton axles, 36's, minor front trim, bumpers, winch, yada, yada, yada. Do you think I have enough to keep busy untill June? /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Sounds like we are doing the same stuff Wayne. I have still not finsihed the motor projects and well. PM Boss or myself about 2,3, and 5 on your list, if you need some help. My dad is bearing down on me 'cause she has been dry docked at teh shop forever and a day. Lauren is claiming K5 withdrawl. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

That's quite a list!
My list is not quite that big, but my truck immobile until ORD finally gets my springs out to me...probably won't be until another month!! /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Anyhow, Like Fr8 said, let us know if we can help you with #'s 2, 3 and 5. We can throw some options at yah hook you up with a good deal too! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Thanks guys. I think I might have this under control. I just bought a new compressor, bender, and a new mig in the next week or so. I will actually be fabbing stuff for both trucks. I am going to do bolt on sliders for Donna's truck since her rockers have no rust. I figured it was cheaper to just buy the stuff to make the parts I want instead of getting them from someplace. About the only thing I am undecided on is front springs.

Wayne, how did the full size (bulldozer /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif) do there? Is there enough space to get around?

Jim got a small dent on the drivers 1/4 panel and a scuff on the passenger side. These are new trails that were just cut and we have to do a little more work on them. With a fullsize there are some tight spots so we are looking into fixing them. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Just wanna make sure there's a full-size truck guy there looking out for us /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif .

Hey Wayne, lets not fix em too much, it'll take some of the fun out. 8 point turns and 1/2" clearence on each side are fine /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

And thanks for the spotting, that one tree/rock combo was tough.

Jim, no problem on the spotting. I just wish you would have been closer to the front of the line. I just got a kick out of all the guys talking about you on the cb when you were comming out to the end of the trail. I wound up spotting Keith for most of the 2nd trail and part of the first trail we did. I did a little spotting for Blake too. Overall the day was a great success and I hope next time the group will be smaller. I am going to try and make the run on the 24th. They are talking about a half day cutting and half day wheeling. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif Might have some snow up there by then to make it even more fun. /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif
