x2, the more I look at my truck interior's state of disrepair the more Im considering getting one. I pretty much need to replace my whole dash anyways.

There should be a couple picture threads already. Otherwise, mine is on Kert's website.

click the link in my sig line

I just checked it out, that post spent most of the time on the gauges and wiring. not so much on the install of the dash itself, I thought there was some 'metal surgery' that needed to make it fit, that is what im most interested in.

Ah ok.

Most of the pics are gone from that post. especially on page 14.

Im very interested in doing this, cheaper than dealing with the dash pad thats all fubar'd .

Curious about the factory speaker up in the dash? those get gone when the dash is cut.

Plez post up pics in your build thread as you go and the cuts, etc etc etc :D

Oh crap,,when they said "surgery", they werent kidding. That is a commitment project for sure, im sure after the first cut, its easier. lol.

2 bolts under each side to the a-piller area .

then the few cuts up front . cause the main top frame is spot welded all the way across the winshield area.

and you need a few tabs left to support the dash so that's why its not all removed up front.

and why the factory bolted in the side I do not know when the rest is all welded . :dunno:

Cutting out the horrible factory dash was one of the best things I ever did to my truck. It feels nice and clean/updated now when driving it.

Is it spot welded in? You have to cut it out?
