I don't know why I punish myself by looking at things on craigslist I end up wanting, when I shouldn't be wasting any money on things I dont need,or wont fix up and "finish"...but I do anyway...

So far I have seen a tractor for sale like the FIVE I already own,in my town, for cheap money...my addiction for these particular machines is strong, but as my health declines,I have managed to talk myself into NOT going to look at it or buy it..

Then I see this truck for sale,just a few miles away...hmmm...it'd be a nice simple 2wd summer cruiser,something I can work on myself,and I miss the '79 C10 Bonanza I had...Antique 1983 Chev Stepside Truck

I doubt this thing will be available for long at that price...
Whether I would still be able to put it all back together is the main thing..
I'd love to have another "grandpa's truck" with a straight six and three on the tree..(I'd prefer a floor shifter though--be easy enough to put a 4 speed in it too--no pedal cluster swap !)..

But--I already have the '85 diesel Suburban I bought in 2009,that sat ever since and now has rotted rockers and door bottoms, still would need trans work to be roadworthy again, and my enthusiasm to do anything with it has diminished a great deal...

I still own the '81 G1o van too,and started fixing that up last summer..been thinking of putting it back on the road--I like my K2500,but its not really a good daily driver, especially if you want to go some distance..its getting pretty rotted and I'd just assume not rack up a lot of miles on it--keep it for plowing and dump runs and not wear it out going everywhere in it..

The way I have been feeling lately ,I doubt I'd be able to put another truck together, when I dont have much enthusiasm to fix and use the ones I have already...my house needs a lot of repairs and the money for that shouldn't be spent on things I "might" end up not using--on the other hand ,I might end up with a decent truck I could flip later on and actually make money too..

This "addiction" to certain vehicles and machines is hard to kick.....

I'd love to have it, and keep it 6 w/ 3 on the tree.

But Boston is a bit of a hike.
