Someone needs to install one of these and give us a review.

Wonder if this could help me do my center console rear a/c, and retain stock unit for front. Just thinking…

Thanks for sharing

That's was I was thinking. Second alternator installs. They are making 12v units for RVs now. 4 times the price and need six 6v volt batteries to run it overnight.

You are correct. I was looking at the picture of the pump and scrolled down. I thought that was really low for what is has to do.

The math doesn’t work out anyways.
Power=Volts x Current
So 30W=Volts x 15A means that it would need to run off of 2 volts. :doah:

The displacement is 26CC? The big Sanden is 155. The dual-air R-4 is 180. So if those spin around 1/2 engine RPM (let's call that 350RPM at idle), then this electric needs to go 2100 RPM for the same refrigerant flow. And it's mounted under the dash, so I'm not understanding how this is quieter than a belt-drive. In my mind it will sound like an electric air compressor. That's not even thinking about how much refrigerant the engine-mount ones can flow when the engine is cruising at 2200RPM.

The power consumption is suspiciously low to cool a vehicle. It certainly solves some underhood packaging issues - until you have to add the 2nd alternator!
