73 GMC up for auction. Check out the picture at the top of this auction, then scroll down and look at the other pictures. He claims the first is an earlier picture (pre 2000). I don't even think it's the same truck. Mirror is differnt, looks like a Chevy emblem on the fender of one truck and a GMC on the other. Alum. band at cab is different, camper hooks on one and not the other, the bed in the first picture has gas doors (79 or later, right?), the bed on the other truck has a gas cap. One truck is lifted, the other isn't. And I'm not positive, but one truck is a 4x4 and it looks like the other isn't. The auction sounds like it's for a 2wd. I wonder if this is something that should be reported to e-Bay??!

The gas door and gas cap are also on different sides of the truck. It is not the same truck. He needs to be reported.

In one pic the left side of the truck is cherry and in the other it has rust.

Changes from gmc to chevy.

This guy is a dumbass.

suprised he didn't put pics of different license plates.

not to mention, one has drip guards on roof, other doesn't. Never known anyone to grind them off but:dunno:

neither truck has "34" mall terrains either... :haha:

nice wiring in the motor pics too

I emailed him, here is my question and his answer.

"What's with the pre 2k photo? It isn't even the same truck as the one
you are selling."

I am put new ball joint and distributor on , The truck looks like a
4X4, because of the very high suspension. The motor and transmission are
worth $900.00 alone. It has a $400.00 chrome, rear bumper, in good
condition. There is a hole in the floor board, I did not show in the
pictures. Disregard the top picture, it will look better than that, when
restored.P.S.
IT NEEDS RESTORED

so he doesn't speak english natively?

and yeah I've seen people remove the drip rails, helps for a smooth look, looks really good in my book.

I asked him the following question.

"Just wondering which picture of the truck is current. The lifted pic with small mirrors or the unlifted pic with tow mirrors. Just want to know which one I would be buying.

Answer: "The rusty truck, the one that needs to be restored".

o.k. the truck is a 2x4 ???? did any one catch the big 3/4 ton frt hubs!!!

and the thing looks like a pill of _______ you fillin with your own words.:cool1:

and the truck is a 73??? whats up with the gas door in 73????

The whole auction is misleading. It screams fishyness.

Divorced, looks like he's just sending the same email to all..... here is my question and reply:

You asked:
"Which truck is for sale, the nice looking 4x4 at the top, or the rusty 2wd in the pictures at bottom?"

The rusty 2 wheel drive. I am put new ball joint and distributor on , The truck looks like a 4X4, because of the very high suspension. The motor and transmission are worth $900.00 alone. It has a $400.00 chrome, rear bumper, in good condition. There is a hole in the floor board, I did not show in the pictures. Jack-offs like that are what make me not even care about ebay. And the fact that they are doubling the seller fees kinda makes me mad too.

Ya, buying this thing would be like eating a bowl of fishheads. Especially in the hours after consumption.

Jerk decided to shorten his answer:

Dear jac6695,

You asked:
"Which truck are you selling? The nice looking 4 wheel drive or the rusty 2 wheel drive?"

The rusty 2 wheel drive

You know some 17-21 year old kid that doesn't know any better is bidding on that $100.00 pile thinking he will pick up his nice looking 4WD with a lift. I don't understand people that purposely post misleadleading auctions.

(no tailgate)
Aluminum wheels (16.5" dia.)
34" x 12.5" BF Goodrich All Terrain tires - Lots of
good tread.

he was carfull not to get any strate on pic of the rusty steel wheels that have small bald tires

i sent him this

Why is it you have Pics of to compleatly different trucks?
wondering because the rusty two wheel drive has small bald looking tires, on rusty steel rims and you say that there are 16.5 alum rims, and 35" bfgs.

I am not sure what your trying to acomplish but it dosent seem to be working the good looking truck is not even a 73.
