CA Someone Save this burb!

:eek1: If anyone's in that area and would be willing to act as a middle man I'd be all over that

It's 2 hours from my job.
3 hours from my house.
I should be all over it myself but I already have 2 suburbans that need work, one needs a transmission :doah:

yeah it’s close but I really don’t have time or space for it. The other unknown is smog for title transfer...

I'd love to help someone save it, but that's difficult right now. While it's only an hour from me, snow on my property makes a car trailer or storing a dead vehicle impossible.

That interior is really clean looking. A lot like my 89 3/4 ton. It also has some of the same body rust that you can see in one of the pics and has a lot under neath it. Thats why its getting cut up and turned into a crawler. For the $600 though its a good buy still.

Did they ever get back to you on this burb? What's the story?
That's the problem with most craigslist ads, they don't put a phone number and they don't answer emails.
I have 8 ads I am trying to respond to and never got an answer

sometimes they dont get the message .

i had a guy with some brand new name brand regulators for a cutting torch setup local for sale few years ago . i sent him prob a dozen emails as he had no # listed or other way to get ahold .

he kept dropping the price so i am sure it was a lagit sale but he never got my emails or what i dont know .

There's an ad now he says call or text only and he didn't provide a number.
I am sure he forgot and he thinks no one is interested.
I have seen it like you said they lowered the price when they didn't get interest

there used to be a button for cl to contact them in that scenario

Agreed that part of CL is maddening. If your going to go through the effort of posting an item for sale it seems self defeating to not respond to sales inquires or general questions.

A large part of people not responding is probably poor spam filters, especially if you aren't a frequent email or CL user.

Also something I noticed recently when I found my 03 burb on Craigslist. The ad said to text first because of his work schedule. Looking at the ap on my phone it didn’t show a number under the reply button but looking at Craigslist on a computer it showed it.
