Something Died in my heater Vents

My boss has a 99 silverado he says something has crawled up in the vents and died. When you turn the heat on it makes you want to throw up.... His exact words were " It tastes like a rat has died in your mouth" I'm not sure if thats from experience or just a guess, but it doesn't sound pleasant.

Any ideas?

Maybe remove the blower motor and have a looksee in the housing?

Probably is a dead rat. Had problems like that before. Look under the dash and around the blower housing for a hole.

If you are really lucky you can get him out through the fan hole.

Otherwise, find the nearest cab driver, and ask him where he gets his deodorizer from.

And buy several........

The most important thing is that when you find the offender, you get some pictures.

Found it last night and forgot to post it.... It was a bat that had hit the windshield, seems like that wouldn't be hard to find....
