I am posting my 72 GMC K5 Jimmy for sale that I have had for 9 years now. I have been building this truck since the day I got it and LOST ALL INTEREST several years ago.
Poor bastard, I feel his pain sometimes.

That really doesn't look much different from mine right now... :doah:

poor truck, I'm sorry...:o

That guy is delusional.

As soon as I see the word "invested" in a listing I instantly know the seller has WASTED a ton of money!

By his own description, the bodywork is lousy and rusting away , the interior is incomplete and the hardtop has been butchered to install a sunroof! :yikes:

Sorry, that isn't a 9 year project. That a guy who has owned a truck for 9 years and occasionally tinkered on it. Big difference.

The truck deserves better, but at that price it isn't going anywhere.

yeah, it sounds like he spent most of that 9 years either neglecting it or making bad decisions. all that money he put into it was wasted because of the neglect.

Yep. Real easy to tear everything down, buy a bunch of parts and than let it sit forever.

.....and I'll bet that part of the $15000 "investment" was on things that are now ruined again (bodywork, etc).

I love his comment about the hardtop being stored inside because of how "valuable" it is. I'd bet it isn't even a single-wall version. Not that it matters much with that goofy sunroof hole in the middle of it.

lol, yeah, I was thinking that made a whole lot of sense. lets store the hard top inside, but leave the interior of the truck exposed to the elements... yeah, that's the ticket! :haha:
