80 bucks man, dont do it, i got one in the shed

I wish you posted up sooner. I have already ordered the thing and I'll call them tomorrow to see if they can still cancel the order if I can get that axel shaft from ya for less than $79.

nothing like being in 2hi and getting stuck and switching into 4hi and still being in 2hi......:doah:

:haha: :haha: Ya ok I see where you're coming from.

why dont you just go to the junkyard and get another axle shaft. should be very cheap

The problem is I can't get to a junkyard during buisness hours because of school and the 3 closest to me will only sell the whole axel and won't separate up the shaft from it.

swap in a sf14b. 6 lug and eleventy billion times better than a 10b rear...

I've been passively looking for one over this whole summer but they are hard as hell to find at least in my area. Plus I need one with 4.10 ratio and 6 lug wheels, its even harder to come across this combo. I will start calling as many junk yards as possible about one though.

too late..

I had a 12 bolt posi with 3.08 gears I junked not long ago, because water got in it and I figured no one would want it being a 3.08 ratio..junked a 10 bolt open 3.08 diff recently too.:doah: ...too bad I didn't save them,I only kept a few front axle shafts..I've never snapped any rear axles yet,but most of my trucks don't see much abuse, other than plowing..

R.C. Truck in East Bridgewater probably would have a used or possibly new axle available...also,the 3 junkyards I frequent on Rt.18 in Middleboro have piles of rear ends stacked up like cordwood, they would most likely let you rob one axle, they would most likely have a "junk" rear diff with good axles for cheap..many times I only pay 10 cents a pound for items like that..

try just chevy trucks i was up there not to long ago and they have a warehouse full of parts Real nice and helpful bunch of guys
