Ive got a 94 sonoma 4x4 and was wondering if I can replace the old frame with the higher zr2 frame?

Yup. And that is the only way to 'upgrade' to a ZR2... there's too many frame differences to just be able to bolt on some ZR2 parts.

BTW: '94 is an orphan year. I don't forsee problems with a frame swap, but some things (steering column for sure, dash I think) are unique to that year.
