Sony Xplod line

I personally thing the X-ploding line, or Sony for that matter now days is severly overrated, I am currently running a Pioneer head unit, have absolutely no problems with it, works great, does "just about everything " i want it to do.

I personally love Sony headunits , GOT ALL THE FEATURES I REALLY NEED WITHOUT ANY FLUFF OR DISPLAYS OR WASTED CASH

Guess there's one big thing I forgot on those new Sony speakers and boxes; some way to tie them down.

Those speakers sure don't look new anymore, and they have travelled to all corners of my '72 (I put an extra 10 feet of wire so I could tailgate them when camping).


Oh well, they still sound the same. Gives a nice kind of surround sound too when the speakers are moving around behind you.

I had the xplod speakers in the stock locations of my wifes old Sentra , just the deck power was enough to make it sound good .

The decks though , I have had 3 Sony decks in a row . One the radio stopped playing loud , only the CD changer played good . One worked perfectly , but predated the xplod line .

My current one I bought of Ebay just to replace the one the radio wasn't working in , and it works fine ( mobile ES , not xplod , flip face with no slot visible with face up ) .

So thats 3 Sony's and 2 of 3 worked fine .

I am wanting another Sony deck , and a new Changer that plays mp3's natively ( even on older non mp3 decks with changer controls )

Just a FYI , I fixed the deck with a second faceplate of ebay . 10 bucks , its going in my trail rig with the changer , as I DID get a new Sony deck with everything I need except the high pricetag and gay displays
