Sooty lefty

I will take all suggustions please.

The left pipe always stays sooty and I can feel it loading some. It does smoke a little when I mash on it, I changed injectors they looked rusty when I started on the motor ,plugs and wires, are fine. Any thoughts?

true dual, I ran some atf through it and it may have done it but I will drive it today.
I still want input please.

Ok it didn't help it also runs good then not like it's loading up, if it was a carbed engine I would start there. I did rebuild the TB when I did the engine but know little about the models with the tbi and computers.

Bad injector maybe? How is the spray pattern at idle?

Good pattern, matter of fact I changed injectors as a try.

Ok! Now both are sooty and it seems the Ign. system is losing power or the fuel delivery is advancing I dont know! At cold start it really dumps the gas it even pops in the pipes then clears up some but continues to load up and soot both pipes.
Anyone?????

Found problem, Timing had retarded, distrib. had turned.
