Sorry... did some searching.. 14bolt rotor?

Will this rotor work with the 14 bolt disk conversions? There are tons of calipers listed for the range of years associated with the conversion parts and it is amazing the varying price in rotors from the same manufacturers.

2wd rotors won't work. Gotta be 4wd rotors.

I did a search for K20 and came up with the same part number he posted.. strange.. but yeah they do need to be from a 3/4 ton 4wd.

Awful weird. I was under the impression 2wd rotors were all a one-piece design, meaning there is no removable bearing hub to separate from the rotor like the 4wd type. Maybe I'm wrong, someone correct me on this.

Well I got mine from Autozone and asked for front rotors for a 79 K20 and they worked no problem. Same part number Duralast 5523. Make sure you open the box just to make sure it is 8 lug though. They brought me 6 lug rotors first (may have just grabbed the wrong part). Be careful trusting Autozone's computers.. they are utter crap, and they have nothing to fall back on like Napa does with their giant library of books.

It looks like you need 5523. The 2wd part costs most because it is the hub and rotor, the 4x4 part is just the rotor.

I went to Autozone and got a set of rotors and loaded calipers for a 78 3/4ton k20 4x4 and they bolted right in ....did the whole conversion in about 3 hours
