But when you said ORU, and if you bought the stock front-to-back type arm, its cast steel. Its not aluminum in any way.

I'm guessing it's a forged piece... think I saw them in the $100 range..
Maybe it's laminated cast?

Feel free to shoot me a PM if you feel like it but the "everything needs to be made of 10K lbs of steel to be strong" sentiment around here is getting old.
