looking for a battery tray for drivers side in my 1982 blazer. where would you go?Want duel batterys.

I got mine from lmc truck. I was able to make it fit good. If I remember correctly, I had to install the nutclips in the fender and drill a hole or two in the wheel liner for the bittom bolts.

cool, was going to try junk yards tomorrow and if no luck will order from them after my Dallas trip

Hard to find in a yard, I just rebuilt mine in my 78 made the bottom out of a couple pieces of L channel.

Any welding abilities? Just build one. That's a super simple build if you have the tools. But, I don't know how you're set up.

na , harbor freight welder sucks, and so do i when it come to welding

The factory trays do pop up in the classifieds here from time to time. I think they came with some trailer packages and not just in the 6.2L trucks. If you don't want to pay $60 to LMC truck, you could get a universal tray or random junkyard tray and build your own support brackets. You might find a NOS 15616327 tray somewhere, but you'll be lucky if the price isn't real high.

Hasn't anybody tried knocking the bracket off a RH tray and putting it on backwards to make a LH tray?
