I've got a 10 bolt axle in my 2wd 1990 Suburban that is making noise and a body gave me 2 12 bolt axles, one six bolt wheels and one five bolt wheels. The one with five bolt wheels have bearing wear on the axle shafts so I need new axle shafts. Anyone know where I can pick up a set?

The rest of the axle was fine 3:73 gears.

be ordering a set within two weeks! :waytogo:

Want this rea axle to be reliable as my DD and tow rig. The 10 bolt made it 120K so the 12 bolt with new wheel bearings and axles running synthetic should do better!

You got any better bearing and seal for this set up? If not I would be ordering a timken. Never had one fail.

The 12 bolt came from an early blazer but bolts in my 90 Suburban and some were five lug some six. I need five lug.

So what does it take to run 10-bolt shafts in a 12-bolt axle?

We can get you brand new shafts from Dutchman (better than stock material), $120 each or $225 for the pair.
Do they have a C-Clip elimanater to go with them axles? Looks like Moser makes a good set but want to make sure they would fit?

Don't know if you can do that? But the 12 bolt came in 5 lug for 2wd and six lug for 4x4
