Source for "roll bend" DOM tubing...??

Has anyone come across a vendor who does roll bending and sells small segments of tubing? I'm looking for some 1.75" DOM with a gentle roll bend in it....overall length would probably be 12" - 15"....

I might be able to make something close by using my traditional hydro-bender and doing multiple 1-2* bends every couple of inches on a length of tube, but it may just end up looking really irregular and amateurish.

OK that's a good start...... but I'm still at about $400/ft for the tubing I actually need.

Think I should be able to cut some cost out of that......

You're best bet is going to be local companies. Labor is going to add a lot to the cost of your parts no matter what you do.

I just googled "tube rolling services" and came up with a ton of companies.

I'd say let's make them 16" long so there's enough room for notching....

The bend is 2" at the center of that length. Not sure if that's how most roll benders want the value for the center roller offset?

If you can make 2 out of 1.75" (.120 or .125" wall) tubing I'd be happy to pay you for materials, time & shipping costs!

That would be a radius of 17".

Hey Greg, I think Rob made a roll bender and finally finished it. Might want to see if he can get some material and roll bend it for you then ship it to you.

Well......

After an evening of experimentation it's pretty clear now that the tire won't be anywhere in the vicinity of that next tube I wanted to install.

This is PS "full bump" AND DS "full droop"|
