space between inner and outer bedsides.....

can anyone tell me about how much space is between the inner and outer bedsides? i want to mount my power distribution for all of my lights and mount my amps behind the rear side panels, but dont want to put the screws in and have them come out the outside of my rig! lol
(fyi, my amps have fans so i don't have to worry about overheating.)
