spare tire dip removal/rear inner fender replacement...

Okay so I knew I had to do something with the rear inner fenders because I could ram a screwdriver through it with ease...

I also decided to nix fixing the rust behind the wheel openings and just chop it out, and replace it.

I took the week off work to go to a budds cottage, but I am staying home to get this truck finished instead. Priorities suck.... but well worthe it in the end.

The first two photos are of the areas behind the wheel openings (notice the CK5.com sprayed on the side, hahaha). The one is bondo-d up, and the other is on the way to be bondo-d. I hate bondo, so I am chopping these areas out.

The last three are of the spare tire carrier on the way out. I got it out tonight, but do not have time to post those pictures right now. Later on tonight I will post them.

Okay, so i just got back my brothers gig, and I am posting the pictures.

The first three are of the removed spare tire dip. The last is of the peice on the ground (a useless picture I know, but whoring is fun...).

As you can perfectly see from one of the pictures the inner fender is rusted all the way around on the upper edge. I gotta fix that... But I a going to replace it with a new unit.
