Spare tire mount........

the bed of my rig, laying down flat. Before you say "but there isnt room!" when Im on the way to the trail I have four 39.5x15x15 TSLs in the back of my k5... so a spare should be np!! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Not sure what your asking? Spare is bolted to the carrier frame witch is attached to the bumper by a spindle(rockstomper), so it will swing away for taigate access.

Is that what you mean?

Saw a trick rear "prerunner" style mount on that Sunday TV show called Trucks last weekend (you know, the show on TNN hosted by the guy w/ the best mullett in the country).

It mounted the spare facing the rear inside of the cargo area, but could be completely removed(tire and mount) by removing one large mounting nut.

Looked pretty nice.
